The Yorke Peninsula Field Days will again bring the latest and greatest in agriculture -- and much, much more -- to Paskeville on Tuesday to Thursday, September 24-26.
The biennial event will feature almost 650 exhibitors, an extensive entertainment programme featuring celebrity guest speakers, demonstrations and fashion, to name just a few aspects.
“People can expect to see many familiar exhibitors but also new ones, and they will be able to see the latest innovations in terms of agricultural technology and machinery,” YP Field Days CEO, Mr Peter Anderson said.
“They will also have the opportunity to discuss machinery with suppliers and compare products.
“If you are looking to buy a particular item of machinery, it’s a great opportunity to look at different brands, speak with the suppliers, compare the products and make an informed decision.”
Mr Anderson said the YP Field Days is a not-for-profit organisation and is about showcasing the region and supporting local community groups.
“It’s a real showcase for the region, it brings in millions into the local economy, promotes tourism and sales for our local suppliers,” he said.
“It filters out into greater demand for products and services within the community which improves employment opportunities.
“There is a large array of special interest exhibitors providing a range of products and services that would be difficult to find in one place.”
