On September 29 a rare Aleppo Pine tree, which was propagated from a pine cone at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra was planted at the Nuriootpa RSL branch by Nuriootpa RSL Vice-President, Mr Scotty Milne and Mr Peter Herbert of Ebenezer, who donated the tree to the RSL.
