Tourism Barossa Incorporated has advertised for a regional tourism manager to replace current manager, Mr Nathan Gogoll.
According to Mr Chris Pfeiffer, Tourism Barossa president, Mr Gogoll chose to not extend his contract.
He indicated there has already been some good enquiries for the position, in which applications close next Friday.
Mr Pfeiffer said they were keen to get a manager in soon, particularly with a busy year of events planned and the launch of a $2 million television advertising campaign.
In addition to recruiting a new manager, the board which was elected late last year, will work on increasing their membership base and developing packages relative to smaller businesses.
