The final countdown: Barossa Park ready to welcome footy fans at Gather Round

The Barossa Council Mayor, Bim Lange and the Premier of South Australia, Peter Malinauskas assisted Barossa Districts’ William Pitt, Tate Wilson, Isabel Pitt and Madi Wilson cut the ribbon during the official opening of Barossa Park on Thursday.

The Barossa Park sporting precinct at Lyndoch has been officially opened ahead of the Gather Round 2025 matches, following a visit from South Australian Premier, Peter Malinauskas last week.

The Barossa Council Mayor, Bim Lange joined Mr Malinauskas for the ribbon cutting ceremony, along with four Barossa Districts players who will call the facility home during the 2025 BLG Football Season.
