On Thursday Premier Peter Malinauskas, the AFL's General Manager of Football Laura Kane, and The Barossa Council Mayor, Bim Lange attended a press conference at Barossa Park to officially open Gather Round for 2025.
The Oval became the 51st AFL venue on Saturday and the Premier said the facility had been delivered on time and within budget.
"I'm so proud of what the team has achieved," he said.
