Back in January, 1999, Faye and Colin Henschke expressed a desire to help Carers’ Link Barossa (now Carers and Disability Link), and hence provided the initial capital to set up a supporting op-shop at Tanunda. Now, 25 years later, the small op-shop has grown into the enormous project that is Community Helpers, with almost 80 volunteers operating across both the original Tanunda shopfront, and furniture warehouse at Nuriootpa.
