At a Special Council Meeting of Mid Murray Council on February 18, Elected Members unanimously carried a recommendation to submit a motion to the Local Government Association of South Australia for consideration at its 2025 Ordinary General Meeting in May, in the hope of achieving "fairer" distribution of federal Financial Assistance Grants.
