Angaston lawn bowler, Liam Buckley’s first state gold medal for the year has started the ball rolling on what he hopes to be a defining season.

Liam was crowned winner of the two-day Disability Recreation and Sports SA 2013 State Lawn Bowls Championship on Sunday.

The competition was tough for Liam, who finished both the semi-finals and finals in a tiebreaker and had to play two extra sets to claim the title.
