A $200,000 major revamp to the Hage Suite of the Angaston Hospital has been officially unveiled.
Funded by the Barossa Health Advisory Council, the work addresses the ongoing issues around infection control in carpets, peeling wall vinyls and sagging ceilings.
The improvements have been welcomed by the newly appointed Health Advisory Council presiding member, Elizabeth Haebich who acknowledges the major funding contribution by the group.
She now looks forward to stage 2 of the project which will be the facade of the Angaston Hospital.
Meanwhile, a business case for a new Barossa health facility continues to progress and according to health officials is expected to be released for public consultation later this year.
