Aussie Hay Runners rolled into South Australia on November 2, with one part of the relief convoy visiting the Schultz farm, just outside of Sedan.
Seven semi-trailers arrived at the farm shortly after 2.00pm, having left Ararat at 7.00am that morning.
They were greeted by a group of local farmers, Mid Murray Council Mayor Simone Bailey in typically windy Sedan weather.
Craig Schultz' farm was selected as a drop off point because of good high way access and central location to others who will pick up their share of the bales.
Those who were present said it was good to see the smiles and hear some laughter from the farmers.
Aussie Hay Runners, founded by Linda Widdup, provide a valued service to struggling primary producers across many states.
The people involved volunteer their time and use of their rigs to deliver fodder and dog food to farmers who have low to very low rainfall over a period of years.
It has been said that they distribute more than just fodder - they give heart to depressed farmers by showing that someone cares about them.
Mark and Craig Schultz were acknowledged for the use of their tractors and time unloading, and Mayor Bailey, Councillor Ros Schultz and Nutrien rep, David Schultz were acknowledged for their support.
