Grey water gardens an inspiration heading into summer

1 min read

Nestled in the backstreets of Craneford lies a line of hidden treasures; a row of four houses with beautifully decorated, maintained and presented gardens.

All four of these houses use rainwater or grey water, keeping their money in their pocket and saving our waterways.

The properties belong to Mr Ken Brook and Ms Leslie Barlow, Mr Graham and Mrs Denise DeBoar, Mr Stephen and Ms Jackie Berry and Mr and Mrs Wallace.

Leslie and Ken have arguably the most exquisite and detailed garden of the street over their half-acre block.

They have completely transformed the property since they moved in 10 years ago, adding a verandah, a deck and of course their lovely garden.
