Gearing up for Angaston Show

Kaylene Kalleske, Angaston Show assistant secretary; Chris Linke, Angaston Show secretary, and Serena Ahrns, Angaston Show treasurer.

Angaston Show will be kicking off strong tomorrow with many attractions and events to amaze and entertain attending punters.

Chris Linke, Angaston Show Society secretary, said she is very excited for the event, which has been a long time in the making.

“It’s going to be a really great show. Things have come together really well,” said Chris.

The weather will be a little warm during the day with relief in the morning and evenings.

Chris expects the snow cone and ice cream stands will do well over the weekend with attendees looking to keep cool. There is plenty of seating and shade for people around Angas Recreation Park to take refuge under.

The Show Hall will be full to the brim with entries and the horse programme is jam packed with events over the three days.

Angaston Show is shaping up to be another enjoyable family-friendly event for the Barossa community.

Gates open at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Horses in action are part of the Friday afternoon programme.

Entry fee is $10 per adult, $6 pensioners, $3 for 13-18 year olds and children 12 years and under are free.
