The students may be on holidays now, but recently Member for Schubert, Mrs Ashton Hurn MP, hosted Tanunda Primary School Year 6 pupils at State Parliament. The 60 students enjoyed a tour of both the Upper and Lower Houses of Parliament, the Old Chamber as well as the library, with Mrs Hurn describing the students as incredibly inquisitive and a pleasure to host. Mrs Hurn’s colleague, Mrs Laura Henderson MLC also assisted with the tour, providing insight into the workings of the Legislative Council.
