Years ago when the Doddridge Blacksmith Shop in Angaston was in full operation, times were tough in business as the family led a frugal life while concentrating on building things to last.
This summed up the Angaston Heritage new exhibition, "Built to last: The Doddridge Family Story" when around 30 invited guests attended the opening at Angaston History Centre on Sunday.
