Community gets its say on Truro EV charging station

One option open for the community’s consideration shows the SAPN transformer set 19 metres back into Pioneer Park and screened in (on the right), and the yellow charging station at the rear of the park remaining as is. This is one of three revised options presented in Mid Murray Council’s community engagement paper, open for feedback until June 19.

Mid Murray Council has announced it has opened community consultation on several location alternatives for RAA EV charging station infrastructure at Truro.

The charging station sparked controversy in January when a large SA Power Networks’ pad-mount transformer was placed at the front of Pioneer Park on Moorundie Street.
