The World War II QF 25 Pound Field Gun has been restored and was relocated to a more prominent spot at Angaston Memorial Reserve, in time for ANZAC Day commemorations last week.
In April last year, the Angaston and Penrice Historical Society received $4,590 through the Federal Government’s Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program to complete the project.
