At its most recent meeting, Friends of Kapunda Inc. approved a grant to the Kapunda Historical Society Museum to assist in the restoration of its 'Mellor Mower', an agricultural implement.
The mower was manufactured in Kapunda during the 1860s by J. Mellor one of the earliest engineering firms in the colony of South Australia.
