Work to reduce the height of Warren Dam's spillway is nearing completion, as part of SA Water's proactive measures to ensure the dam continues to operate safely during major rainfall events.
Lowering this section of the spillway's crest by around 1.9 metres will enable water from the reservoir to be safely released downstream to South Para Reservoir once it reaches around 65 per cent capacity.
