After many years of sleeping silently out of the public eye, the future of the historic Marananga Primary School has taken a very positive turn.

Back in 1853, a German school was instituted when the need was recognised for a school building in the village of Marananga, then named Gnadenfrei, meaning ‘grace’ and ‘freedom.’
