Rachael’s sweet success

Rachael Doecke, born in 1994, was diagnosed with the rare Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome by the time she was three.

This genetic condition is caused by a deletion of genetic material near the end of the short (p) arm of chromosome 4, affecting several different parts of the person’s body, including their heart and brain.
