Kapunda couple Bev and Paul Umlauf first encountered each other in 1953 when Bev was working as an usher at a picture theatre in Salisbury, and asked Paul if he was able to move seats so that a young couple would be able to sit together. Little did they know, that 72 years later they would be the couple sitting next to each other, having shared an extraordinary life.
“We’ve just enjoyed life,” said Paul simply.
