If a winning smile is part of the criteria for receiving the Lutheran Nurse of the Year Award 2024, Angaston local Karen Bates won it in spades.
With a nursing career that spans an awe-inspiring 41 years, Karen graciously accepted the industry award at Zion Lutheran Church, Angaston on Mother’s Day, May 12.
