The contribution the Rotary Club of Gawler has made to the greater Gawler community, in what is their 70-year anniversary, has been recognised in State Parliament last week.
Established by 24 pioneering individuals in 1954, the club has since raised over $1 million, supporting a multitude of projects that have benefited both local and international communities.
