Yesterday, Mr Gerry Canavan of Nuriootpa celebrated his 90th birthday.
On the weekend Gerry was surrounded by friends and family at the Old Union Chapel, Angaston to celebrate the milestone.
Gerry grew up in Portland, Victoria on a dairy farm and went to a small country school in Narrawong.
