Lutheran Community Care, Nuriootpa acknowledged their volunteers on May 29 with a special luncheon, and while celebrating volunteers, the day was about recognising 50 years of Lutheran Community Care.
Mrs Annie Chambers, Co-ordinator of the Community Visitor’s Scheme for Lutheran Community Care, told The Leader that for 50 years, Lutheran Community Care has existed to deliver high quality service to build strong communities.
“We have grown out of the vision of a small group of Lutheran women, who were inspired to show Christ’s love and care in action,” said Annie.
“Today that vision has expanded to provide services on behalf of the Lutheran Church in both SA and the Northern Territory.”
