Kapunda Charity Car Cruise have raised $41,000 for the Kapunda Hospital, which will go towards upgrading the 16 year old helipad.
This takes their combined total raised over three years to upwards of $100,000.
Jacki Williams, co-organiser of the Kapunda Charity Car Cruise, described the feeling of raising that amount as 'overwhelming'.
"At the start I said we'd raise $25,000. I wasn't expecting to reach $38,000, let alone hit the 40 mark," said Jacki.
Described as a 'mini version of a variety bash', the Kapunda Charity Car Cruise, which had 45 participants, travelled 750 kilometres around the Yorke Peninsula over the March long weekend.
