Calls for Nuriootpa Cemetery maintenance

“It looks like no one cares.”

That’s according to Mr Leo Broadbent on the current appearance of the Nuriootpa Cemetery.

Since January the Nuriootpa man has been raising his concerns to The Barossa Council on the untidiness of the area, claiming it has received very little attention.

The weeds were the start of Leo’s concerns and it has since followed to the numerous mounds of dirt where someone has been laid to rest.

While he acknowledges that it takes time for the dirt to subside, he notes that some have been like their current state for more than 12 months.
