The 2019 Barossa Vintage Festival will include the increasingly popular youth event Busk ‘til Dusk, on Saturday April 27 from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the iconic Coulthard House in Nuriootpa.

Busk ‘til Dusk is a musically focused event for youth aged between 12 and 25 years.

It is an important project for individual musicians in the Barossa and surrounding communities.

It provides young people with the opportunity to perform to an audience at an accessible location.

Busk ‘til Dusk was held twice in 2017 and grew great interest from local musicians.

The 2019 promises to be bigger and better with cash prizes and recording opportunities for the performers chosen on the day.

Prizes will range from $300 to $900 and cover eight categories.

They include solo, duo and band performances.

Best solo performer prize will include a recording session with Jamie Bletchynden.

Best overall act prize will include a recording session with Northern Sound System.

Registrations opened on December 1.
