A series of developments across the Barossa demonstrates confidence in the region according to Barossa mayor Bob Sloane.
Last month’s approval of The Co-op’s $25 million re-development is one of a number of developments the Barossa has gained over recent months.
Mr Sloane has welcomed the investment businesses are making in the region and said many of them have been planned for a long time.
“There’s a lot of confidence of what we can do in the future,” said Mr Sloane.
“A lot of money is going back into local companies, builders, equipment and labour… it does have a great impact on everything we are doing in the community.”
This year alone, the new Jarvis site in Tanunda will be complete, in addition to extensions to Barossa Valley Cheese Company, Barossa Nursery and a new winery for Lambert Estate.
