BBBfm team excited for the future

1 min read

The team at BBBfm are excited to see what the future holds, amidst confirmation that state government plan to sell the Tanunda Railway site.

Despite receiving an eviction notice earlier this year, BBBfm presenter and Barossa Councillor, Cr David DeVries, explains that the station will continue on.

BBBfm’s secretary, Margaret Williams, explains that they have recently received a grant for new outdoor broadcasting equipment.

The equipment will allow the station to attend community events.

“We’ll be able to get out and about,” she said.

Pauline Hakala, presenter and media convener for BBBfm, said that the stations team plan to attend the Angaston Markets to produce a live radio show.

“We would like to have a panel, where you can bring your own Rock and Roll albums,” she said.

In addition, BBBfm are excited to welcome their new partnership with Tourism Barossa. Margaret discussed the opportunities that have arisen from the partnership, which has encouraged the team.
