Barossa’s land sale boom

Mr Peter Fairweather, director/founder Barossa Real Estate said sales for land division, Redeemer Heights is the best he has seen in the Barossa during his 40 year career.

Hot off the heels in completing the earthworks to Nuriootpa’s newest subdivision, Redeemer Heights, work will start on a release of more than 80 blocks on Kalimna Road.

Two thirds of the 29 block Redeemer Heights is already sold with Mr Peter Fairweather, Barossa Real Estate saying the strong response is the best he has seen during his time in the industry.

“It’s probably the best estate sales I have seen in the Barossa Valley in 40 years following on from the success of Woodland Estate, which is a great example of careful design and a great developer listening to what the market wants,” said Mr Fairweather.

Barossa Real Estate have worked closely with developers to deliver larger block estates throughout Nuriootpa. This was first tested with Blossom Hill Estate and flowed into Forestbrook on Kalimna Road and over four stages at Woodland Estate.

The final piece to the Woodland Estate puzzle will be in coming months when the removal of the engineering sheds begins in Warnecke Street.

All these housing estates take on the living generously theme which Mr Fairweather adds brings the good size allotments to the market place.

A strong region and the dynamics of employment and career opportunites has brought increased interest in living in the Barossa.
