Faith Lutheran College, Tanunda student, Georgia Mannion, known by her artist name George Alice, has been named as a finalist in the Triple J Unearthed High competition.
She is just one of five finalists across the whole of Australia.
This year 1,500 songs were uploaded for the Unearthed High competition.
Georgia’s song, Circles is her debut release and according to Triple J, shows the depth and talent that the 16 year old has developed performing and busking since the age of 10.
Announced early next week, the winner will receive ongoing mentoring for their music career, as well as the chance to record and produce a track in the Triple J studio and be paired with an Australian artist and their management for professional advice.
