The skies stayed blue and the rain held off at Rowland Flat on Sunday as the airstrip hosted St. Jakobi Lutheran School’s biggest fundraiser, the Barossa Airshow.
On Monday, organisers were still reeling from the biennial event, which has been hailed a huge success.
Mrs Naomi Duggan, Barossa Airshow promotions officer, said crowds were strong for the day of aerial action.
“It was a big success,” she said.
“A lot of people were there and the crowd numbers were fantastic and everyone seemed to be having a good time.”
Naomi recognised the family friendly environment the day offers, saying it was good to see people spending time together.
There was some concern of rain early in the morning, however, some cloud cover provided a “real blessing” for participants and crowd goers.
