Back to back award for the Vine Inn Community Hotel

1 min read

The Vine Inn Barossa Community Hotel, Nuriootpa has gone back to back at this year’s Australian Hotels Association SA awards for excellence taking out the title of best gaming room venue country.

The accolade, presented last Tuesday night, now puts The Vine Inn Barossa Community Hotel into the national award scheme, which will be held on the Gold Coast next month.

Mr Chris Linden, CEO of the Vine Inn Barossa Community Hotel, said the award recognises many aspects of the venue, including compliance.

With 34 machines, Chris said it’s a compact gaming venue but it works.

“It shows that we have done the right thing when we did build the room,” said Chris.

“It’s not just about the room, a lot of compliance has to be maintained.”

Friendly staff, who know the regular customers, coupled with consistently changing and updating machines were among the reasons for The Vine Inn Barossa Community Hotel’s success.

“We continue to invest in the product,” said Chris.
