Brevet Sergeant Matt Hale has already settled into the Williamstown community, with many locals keen to meet the town's newest Officer in Charge.
B/Sgt. Hale began his role on March 15 and has since been popping in to businesses around town and meeting all the community's friendly faces.
He has taken over from B/Sgt. Bryan Dicker, who retired from the position almost a year ago.
"There's been a number of property theft and damage over the past few months so that will be my focus. Also targeting speeding drivers," said B/Sgt. Hale.
"Williamstown is a really nice community and very tight."
