After a busy 23 round season, Mr Darren Robinson, Director of Advertising Sales and Marketing at The Leader, was really happy to see an increase in participation in this year’s football tipping competition.

The Leader’s competition is now in its fourth year and to have continued growth is extremely positive for all involved.

Darren explained that The Leader has received overwhelming support and feedback which suggests next year’s competition will be improved yet again.

“It’s wonderful to have that experience when going into local businesses to collect their entry forms at the end of the week and you can compare positions with them and hear about the conversations staff have with participants,” said Darren.

“Without the generous support of our 2019 business partners we wouldn’t have been able to deliver this outstanding competition for our readers.

“Thank you to all of our participating tipsters. We look forward to another tipping programme next year.”
