At least five Barossa businesses have been targeted by theft with electrical tools and petrol stolen during the spree which started in April.
Among those to be hardest hit was Angaston Construction, with an Isuzu D Max ute registration number S217BWA valued at approximately $40,000 and around $20,000 in tools stolen.
It is understood one person from Tanunda has been arrested in relation to the thefts with other offenders yet to be found.
Angaston Construction owner, Mr Leon Andretzke said they have got to keep going following the theft which occurred on May 26.
“We had the building all secured where everything was stored and they broke in through a window,” said Leon.
