Not equal in local football league

1 min read

Gender pay equality is not on the radar for the Barossa Light and Gawler Football Association with the chiefs of both associations not seeing the urgency to make pays equal.

BLGFA president, Mick Brien shut down suggestions of women being paid for playing football in the region and added netball is the number one female sport in the Association.

The region's women's football president, Adam Butcher doesn't agree on players being paid in the main association, adding footballers should be playing for fun.
