Angaston celebrates Barossa Vintage Festival at the Village Green and Town Hall

Angaston residents will be celebrating the town’s 175th birthday this year and held their Back to Angaston ‘town day’ last Wednesday as part of the Barossa Vintage Festival.

Organised by the Angaston Business and Community Alliance, the day featured many stalls and activities at the Village Green on Murray Street, alongside specials from local cafes and shops.

There was also a guided heritage walk of the townships special icons throughout the day.

Retailers displayed a vintage photograph that relates to their business history or something interesting about the town.

Hundreds of tourists and locals flocked to Angaston for the celebrating, with many comments such as “It’s been a very successful day” and “There’s been so many families and people around”.
