Vintage Singers rally in the Barossa

Owners of Singer cars are preparing for a fun filled weekend over Easter as the National Singer Rally makes its way to the Barossa Valley.

The rally will be starting on April 14 and stretching over the four day long weekend.

Fellow Singer owner and enthusiast, Mr Jeff Vale, Greenock said that they are expecting 100 people to attend with 45 plus Singers making it down for the weekend.

“There will be people from all over Australia coming, it’s really quite exciting,” he said.

“The rally headquarters will be at Weintal at Tanunda where we will also be having a wine and vine theme dinner on the Saturday night and people can dress up.

“It’s just a great weekend for all those who are into vintage cars.”

The rally is held every two years as a national event and each time changes state, this year it is being held by the Singer Car Club of South Australia.

Jeff said the weekend will consist of a rally, a treasure hunt like event and then judging.

“We are keeping a few locations secret but will be driving around Barossa based areas,” he said.

“There will also be an observation rally happening that is much like a treasure hunt where drivers and guests can go along and take photos of certain things.
