Cheap as Chips coming to Nuriootpa

The Co-op Nuriootpa re-development is on track with Stage 1 approaching completion.

The board are now excited to announce the significant signing of Cheap as Chips as a major addition to The Co-op.

This represents a significant milestone in their journey to bring greater shopper choice to the Barossa, and positions the Co-op well on track in their commitment to deliver an exciting new Shopping Centre.

Employing 750 South Australians, Cheap as Chips position themselves between The Reject Shop and K Mart and bring an offer to the Co-op that will complement the centre well.

Cheap as Chips will be the third major tenant in the new Shopping Centre,  joining Foodland and Aldi.

Programmed to open late in 2017, the new store will create 25 local jobs.

“I think this is a fantastic opportunity for the Co-op and Cheap as Chips, both growing organisations broadening their horizons to better serve their customers,” said Mr Shane Wild, Centre Manager at The Co-op.
