Abbie will chop off the locks

Abbie Von Bertouch, 23, Nuriootpa, has reached her halfway funding goal of $5,000 to go towards resettling families in Cambodia.

Two weeks are left for Abbie before she heads off to Cambodia to help with the RAW Impact charity.

Originally, Abbie was aiming to raise $20,000 to resettle four families in Cambodia but realised she may have set the target too high.

Instead, Abbie is hoping to reach $10,000 and still plans to shave her head if she reaches that goal.

Abbie had a stall up at the Barossa Farmers Markets on the weekend with the money from purchases going towards her funding goal.

She also has an art exhibit at Gibson Wines that is also raising money through visitors to the display.
