Another hairdressing salon targeted

“We work so hard and it’s been taken from us in a matter of minutes,” said Ms Chantal Andrews, owner of Casual Bliss Salon and Spa alongside her husband, Sam.

In the early hours of May 17, thieves jemmied their way through the locks on the front door of the popular Greenock salon and stole $15,000 worth of retail and professional products.

Amongst the stolen goods were professional makeup, nail products, a skin care range and hair products.

Surprisingly to Chantal, the thieves didn’t take any hair straighteners or dryers.

“They took towels and make up testers instead of our hair styling tools, we found that strange,” said Chantal, who has owned the business for two years.

Chantal and Sam received a phone call from a passing tradesperson at 7.50 a.m. and Police were called straight away before the pair rushed down to their salon.

Chantal also told The Leader that some of her brands were very exclusive, with only two stockists in South Australia, so she believes those who see the brands around can possibly help with the investigation.
