Ahrens appointed for Mitre 10 development

The Co-op has appointed local builders, Ahrens, to build the new Mitre 10 store in Nuriootpa.

“We are thrilled to have been awarded this construction project in our local community. Having been part of this region for over 110 years now, it’s a fantastic opportunity to work locally and employ local contractors to help us deliver this project,” said Mr Mark Smeaton, Director – Construction, Ahrens.

Slated to be one of the largest Mitre 10 in South Australia, this store has been built with the locals in mind.

Store Manager, Ms Terri Hollenberg, said, “We have listened to our customers, our tradies and our members, and we are building a store that will meet their needs.

“It includes a state of the art trade centre, large garden centre, and a huge range of hardware designed to satisfy even the most discerning of customers,” she said.
