A touch of British royalty

News that the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall are coming to Tanunda is music to the ears of Barossa royalists.

Janet and Arthur Radke, of Nuriootpa are avid collectors of British royalty memorabilia and are looking forward to Charles and Camilla arriving in the Valley next month.

“It will be nice to see the Royals come to visit,” Janet said.

When asked if they’ll go and see their Royal Highnesses, Arthur is quick to respond.

“Oh yeah, I’ll be there with my camera…. once I can find out where they are going! It’s all very hush hush at the moment,” he said.

Arthur is not new to royal watching.

He took photos when the Queen last visited the Barossa and even managed to speak to her, saying how pleased he was to meet her when she did her public meet and greet.
