Citizen of the Year for The Barossa Council, Mr Bill Sibley, 74, of Angaston is a champion of the Angaston community, contributing his skills and talents to a variety of volunteer organisations and efforts over many decades.

His dedication to the Angaston AH&F Society as president, life member and patron spanned six decades and culminated in a “Legend Award” from the Central District Shows’ Association in 2013.

He has held committee positions (including president) with local Rotary and Probus clubs, as well as Angaston & Penrice Historical Society, where he helped stage History Week displays and events.
