$250,000 donation ensures foundation’s future

A $250,000 donation to Foundation Barossa will ensure its scholarships continue well into the future.

Former Barossa resident, Mr David Thomas’ significant donation was announced at Foundation Barossa’s AGM last Wednesday.

Mr Thomas is one of the foundation’s original donors, founding the Thomas Scholarship in 2002 and contributing $450,000 to date.

Foundation Barossa Executive Officer, Ms Leanne Hutton said the donation had almost doubled the organisation’s available funds and secured its future.

“We are really excited about this, it is going to allow our scholarships to continue into perpetuity,” Ms Hutton said.
