Barossa Bushgardens is growing

At the Annual General Meeting of the Friends of the Barossa Bushgardens on September 17 a number of significant achievements were documented by the Chairperson, Kate Jenkins in her annual report to members.

Overall the Bushgardens is growing from strength to strength.

Many achievements have been made in the last 12 months including an increase in the number of visitors to the gardens, successful grant applications and sponsorships for projects, a new logo, an agreement with TAFE to conduct a Certificate 2 in Horticulture course, a partnership with the Upper Torrens Land Management to grow mainly grassland species for revegetation, the revegetation nursery now in operation and many other smaller projects.
