$15,000 for Nuriootpa CFS

Colorbond steel awarded a $15,000 community grant to Nuriootpa Country Fire Service (CFS) on Tuesday.

The grant will be the eighth awarded in the ‘Help a Mate’ community grants competition, one of the largest community programmes of its kind that calls on people from all over to nominate their mates who need a helping hand.

Nuriootpa CFS is an essential fixture in safeguarding the community’s safety. Their continued efficiency is reliant upon the maintenance and safe storage of their equipment.

The new Colorbond steel shed will be erected to provide an improved space to house vital fire and rescue equipment that can be easily accessed by Nuriootpa CFS in an emergency.

Established in 1976, Nuriootpa CFS is an essential fixture in safeguarding the community’s safety. Their continued efficiency is reliant upon the maintenance and safe storage of their equipment.
