The Barossa was in the international spotlight yesterday when Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre, Rowland Flat hosted a press conference for the World Tennis Challenge.

The challenge started at War Memorial Drive, Adelaide last night and will be completed tomorrow.

Jacob’s Creek is one of the major winery sponsors of the event and were excited to be able to host world tennis stars Mark Woodforde, Martina Navratilova, Martina Hingis, Mats Wilander, Henri Leconte, Mansour Bahrami, Mikael Pernfors and a large group of media.

Ms Zana Hoskin, Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre functions co-ordinator said it was great to host the morning event, which concluded with a luncheon at the heritage site which was created by Orlando Wines executive chef, Ms Veronica Zahra.

“It was fantastic to get them out here… some of them have never been to Adelaide before and to get them out to the Barossa is great,” said Zana.
